On August 29–30, the Tavriski Christian Institute hosted the international academic-practical conference “Theology of the Nation: Peacebuilding, Healing, and Social Unity”, co-organized by the NGO Dialogue in Action.
The discussions focused on the role of theology in fostering national unity, promoting peace, and overcoming the consequences of war. The program combined both theoretical and practical dimensions: from theological foundations for rebuilding society to concrete models of peacebuilding and service.
Among the key presentations was Taras Dyatlik’s lecture “Theological Pluralism in Evangelical Protestantism: Between Pacifist Nonresistance and the Doctrine of Just War and Defense.”
Representing Dialogue in Action, Taras Dyatlik, Tetiana Kalenychenko, and Dmytro Fedorchak served as moderators and panelists in discussions that addressed the Church’s mission in healing society and cultivating a culture of dialogue.
We thank our partners for their participation in the conference: the Overseas Council, the Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute, and Scholar Leaders International.
