A request for supervision for the entire team of the local Caritas Kolomyia office has been received from Iryna Turianska, a student of the program "Psychological Support at the Basis of Spiritual Service."

One of the key topics was the prevention of professional burnout, as the participants work with people in difficult life situations. Together with facilitator Olena Kopina, they analyzed the causes of burnout and discussed how to recognize their own needs in a timely manner and set work boundaries.

Another important topic was communication with veterans, which often involves conflicting emotions of gratitude, fear, and shame. Through analytical exercises, the participants explored the stereotypes that influence the perception of people in military uniform and hinder open dialogue.

A separate topic of the supervision was veteran aggression. "Aggression is often perceived by us as something forbidden," Olena noted, "because in childhood we were shamed for it. However, in reality, its cause is an unmet need, and it is important to understand exactly which need lies behind aggressive actions."

The supervision session utilized analytical exercises, games, and case studies from practice, as well as materials from the manual "Defender at Home," authored by Olena Kopina.
