On December 16, the Ukrainian Education Platform hosted the forum “Win-Win: From Dialogue to Strategic Partnership” in Dnipro. The forum focused on lectures and in-depth discussions on responsible business, the power of partnerships, and new models of cross-sector collaboration.
As part of the event, Dmytro Fedorchak presented the results of the analytical study “Faith-based actors in Ukraine: contributions, mapping needs, divides, and growth areas in wartime”, conducted in July–August 2025. The study examines the role of religious communities and faith-based actors during the war and shows that many of them have moved beyond purely crisis response, fostering practices of trust, mutual support, and dialogue.

The findings of the study formed the basis for the panel discussion “From Humanitarian Response to Cohesion and Leadership”, moderated by Dmytro Fedorchak. Participants discussed how communities, organizations, and different sectors can move from ad hoc assistance toward sustainable models of cooperation.
Among the key takeaways of the discussion:

The panel discussion featured: Illia Odintsov, Head of the Volunteer Council of Dnipropetrovsk Region; Tetiana Yarmokhina, Executive Secretary of the Interconfessional Council of Christian Churches of Zaporizhzhia; Fr. Andrii Nahorniak, Director for Identity and Network Development at Caritas Ukraine; Oleksandr Maksymchuk, Founder of the Association of Ukrainian Philanthropists.
We thank the panel participants for a thoughtful discussion and valuable expertise, as well as ADRA Denmark and DanChurchAid-Norwegian Church Aid Joint Country Programme for their collaboration on the study. Special thanks go to the Ukrainian Education Platform for organizing the forum and creating a space for meaningful cross-sector dialogue.
